I am going to attempt to explain the difference between watts and VA and all that sort of stuff. Let's hope I get it right. I have a couple ecoflow as well, but not for this project.
Good call on the backup power. These modular units are really pretty good. I use the ecoflow once myself, but those are great. Also. I found that the lighter ones were useful enough for us to take the farmers market to keep our refrigerator running also.
For house project I will be using the number of eg4 inverters and a huge number of batteries with solar panels to try to take the house off grid as much as possible. I'm sure I'll write about that once we get along a little further
